Hello everybody! Today
I’m going to talk about the last chapters of the book.
First of all I would like
to thank you for reading my blog, It’s been amazing to share with you this
beautiful book, and also to share my opinion.
Lena finally turned
sixteen years old! And as we know, she had to make a choice between being dark or
light. But this wasn’t so simple, because her mother killed Ethan!! I was
totally in shock. I even shouted when I read that part of the book, I just
couldn’t believe it! She preferred to kill her daughter’s boyfriend than her,
because she knew that if she killed him, that would hurt her more.
So when Lena found out,
she ran next to him and began to recite a spell of “The Book of the Moons”
and brings him back to life! But it all comes with a price, so Macon, Lena’s
uncle, sacrificed himself for Ethan, and he dies.
Poor Lena, I think that
that should have been hard for her, I mean, What would you prefer that your
uncle, that is like a father for you dies, or you boyfriend? Personally I
wouldn’t know what to do.
Look at this scene of the
book that describes this perfectly, and that also made me felt a lump in my
throat.
“No! No! No! One minute I
was screaming, the next, the sound was stuck in my throat. I remember Ethan
falling. I remember my mother smiling. The glint of the knife, and the blood.
Ethan’s blood. This couldn’t be happening.”
Finally, after Macon’s
dead, it was time for Lena to be chosen by the dark or the light… and in the
end… it was both of them. Yes, Lena was half dark, half light, and that also
made her look a little bit scary, because she had one eye green, and the other
golden the symbol of the dark casters.
What its left for me to
say, is that I really enjoyed the book. I couldn’t stop reading it because all
the time was exciting, romantic and dangerous. I definitely can’t wait to read
the second part of these brilliant saga, “Beautiful Darkness.”
